    Has anyone tried to upgrade to gnome 3.4?
    If you did, then how was your experience with it?
    What worked and what didn't work with Deepin and Gnome 3.4?

    You can easily install 3.4 via a ppa, but it will be the standard looking gnome 3.4 not the DeepIn Style.
