I'm running Deepin 12.12 on a 2006 imac and I love it - DDE is wonderful! I am using the free drivers as my macs graphics card is old now (ATI x1600), but all is working well.
One question though. In the software centre there are two upgrades that cannot work: linux-headers-generic 3.8.0.26.44 and linux-image-generic 3.8.0.26.44.
