    • Can't boot live DVD

    I am trying to boot up the live DVD, but it gets to a point where it will flash from a blank screen to a screen with text.  It is fairly fast, but if you need me to I could probably try and get the last line of text.  I am guessing this probably has something to do with the video???

    Any help would be great.

    Then use other software to make live DVD

    I can check that, but I don't think it is the live DVD, because it boots fine on my other computer.  Do you still think I need to make a new DVD?  I used k3b to make the disk, which has always worked well for me.

    Sorry, I forgot to update you.  After burning a new dvd at a slower speed, it worked.  It is strange that the DVD worked on one computer but not the other...  Anyway, thanks, and sorry for not updating this.

    For most things, burn a DVD is the best way that can be easiest and safest.
