Is there a trick to getting Google Earth installed within Deepin 2014? Has anyone found a way to get it installed properly?

Go to terminal, copy and paste below....

sudo apt-get install libc6-i386 libglib2.0-0:i386 libsm6:i386 \ libglu1-mesa:i386 libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 libxext6:i386 \ libxrender1:i386 libx11-6:i386 libfontconfig1:i386 lsb-core

Enter your password when prompted, then launch Chrome and go to the following URL.

http://www.google.com/earth/download/ge/agree.html

MAKE SURE TO USE THE 32bit VERSION - 64bit DOES NOT WORK!!

Once file downloaded double click to install.  On my PC it complains of poor graphics card but still works.

Good Luck! I hope it works for you too.

Google Earth was not updated for a long time, so not supported in new version.
