I need two of the php extensions ("mcrypt" and "gd") enabled but when I try to install them using sudo apt-get install php5-mcrypt and apt-get install php5-gd, I get these errors :
"Failed to fetch http://packages.linuxdeepin.com/ubuntu/ ... _amd64.deb  404  Not Found [IP: 202.141.160.114 80]".[/color:1uudiblq]

"404  Not Found [IP: 202.141.160.114 80]"[/color:1uudiblq] and

"Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?"[/color:1uudiblq] ,

Its the same for php5-gd.

Any suggestions?

Please select a software source in Software Centre and install again.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried to download it with the software center but the download is just not getting started for both even though the size is just around few KBs.
Any idea why this is happening?

You may have to change the mirror the package manager is pointing to. I was also experiencing slow or stalled package installation until I did that. See http://forum.linuxbsdos.com/topic/270/d ... eepin-2014

Btw, I was able to install both packages on mine from the command line, then from Deepinn Store. See http://forum.linuxbsdos.com/topic/269/i ... eepin-2014. Took less than a minute
