Since upgrading from 2014 to 2014.1 Deepin desktop has become extremely unresponsive.  It takes up to ten seconds to load an item from the dock or when clicking an icon in control panel and forever for the desktop to load on boot.  Has anyone else got this problem?  If so can you point me in the right direction on ideas for solving this or further diagnosing the problem?
I had no problems with 2014 just prior to the update.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Well after trying what seemed like almost everything, it seems a reinstall of the graphics driver was all that was required.  I'm not sure what was being used in Deepin 2014 or even what the correct driver is for my laptop (a Dell Precision M6500 with ATI Firepro M7740 graphics)
  1. sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx fglrx*
Copy the Code

It must have been replaced as part of the upgrade to 2014.1 with another video driver or was somehow corrupted at the same time as the upgrade process.  This seems to work even though AMD don't provide linux support with this graphics card??

I hope this helps someone else, I'm now happy to be able to use DDE again  ;) .
