I currently using Deepin 2014.1 x86_64 in live mode.
Default keyboard layout is American English.
I added Thai keyboard layout as secondary keyboard layout.
List of keyboard layout was shown when I pressed Super+Space button then I clicked at "Thai"
but my keyboard layout didn't change(still English).

I just try, Thai keyboard is OK.

Firstly, enter the keyboard and language module in Control Center. Click "reset" in the upper right corner, and choose Thai keyboard layout.  Then select Thai keyboard layout as the primary keyboard layout.

If it still does not work, please execute "
  1. setxkbmap -query
Copy the Code
" in terminal, and paste the output information.

#setxkbmap -query
rules:      evdev
model:      pc105
layout:     us

@jcoles
Your output means your keyboard layout setting does not effect, it's still US English.

I have same problem. If you change from Control Center it works. Using Super-SPace it does not work

Maybe you do not set shortcuts to switch language.

Shortcuts were set, it is a more basic problem. Ideally an icon on the dock to click would be perfect
