    Buenas, estoy intentando hacer funcionar el lector de huellas digitales en mi laptop.
    Intente hacer funcionar fingerprint-gui pero el mismo da error al intentar iniciar. Esto puede deberse a no ser compatible con el escritorio DDE.
    Me gustaría saber si existe algún software que soporte esta distribución para poder usar el lector de huellas digitales. Es muy útil usar el dedo para ingresar la contraseña de root o desbloquear la laptop sin tener que tipear la contraseña.

    Mi dispositivo es el siguiente:
    ThinkPad T430u:
    Bus 001 Device 003: ID 147e:1002 Upek Biometric Touchchip/Touchstrip Fingerprint Sensor

    Mode? what you mean?

    I've been able to install and configure. not work when starting session.

    If I launch the program in terminal "....$ fingerprint -gui" I get
    "Segmentation fault".
    If I launch it with sudo works fine.

    I think it's a permissions problem.

    Si lo lanzo con sudo funciona bien.

    Si ejecuto con mi usuario esto: fingerprint-identifier
    No fingerprintData! Aborting.

    Es un tema de permisos... pero no se como resolverlo... alguna punta?
