    If Deepin wishes to become international, it is necessary to solve a problem with a keyboard layout pattern. Deepin draws a lot of attention. Developers spent many forces and showed skill! However, the small problem, does Deepin not suitable for all but British and the People using hieroglyphs. Pay attention that the most part of the people use when typing the native language together with Latin letters. It requires continuous switching of a keyboard layout pattern, for example: EN/DE, EN/RU, EN/RU/KZ, EN/CH. Moreover, some countries officially use some languages, so can use more than two layouts! Also for the user important which layout to see switched on at the moment. For this purpose on the screen there shall be a keyboard layout pattern indicator! For an example: EN/RU. In community there are decision methods for this problem. But it is repair but not production! Deepin can't be recommended for the normal user without these fixed functions! Already Deepin, users expect the third release to receive the finished system ready to the international community! My friends in Germany, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are interested when Deepin is ready? If matter in testing, in social networks of the whole world is groups Deepin! Address to them for testing and allow to involve from yours a manor volunteers of programmers to the help!
    For indication of layout on the screen, I think it is possible to make a round icon for a panel as it is made in Deepin for hours.

    I'm afraid this feature can't be ready in 2014.2 final version which may will release in 12.31.
    After RC released we can't offer new features, because there hasn't time to do it. We have learned many painful lessons in the past if we can't hold back the temptation of adding new features in the release stage.

    But I think even at this moment the keyboard layout is workable.
    Users can add some favorite layouts.  
    Control Center --> Keyboard and Language --> Keyboard Layout ---> +
    And use the shortcut "super(win)" + space to switch keyboard layouts.

    No, users can not. Typing is a habit. If the user is accustomed to alt + shift means he will preobritat new skills! This is a problem. Here in the forum there is a way around this problem. But this repair. And the most difficult - the lack of progress indicator keyboard layout!
    The display should be visible indication of the current layout! I can not judge the complexity of the problem. I am ready to join the expectation of other users. Let me know what version you can expect solutions for multilingual users so that I can give hope to their friends.     The Super + Space can be changed in "Keyboard shortcuts".

    I honestly the Deepin team isn't very familiar with multilingual, So I can't give you a exact time to "fix" this. There must have a deliberate solution before write code.
    Could you try with your friends to find a deliberate solution to fix this?  We need more skillful people to solve it together.

    Super + Space is used to switch keyboard layout, caps Lock key is used to switch upper and lower case.

    Typing is a habit! It is impossible to force the user learns to print again. On my keypad there is no super button, it is game.

    I starting to use Deepin the last two days and I the language switch is very annoying like it works right now. First I cannot use alt+shift or ctrl+shift(which is a traditional way) or other combinations, just don't accepted. So I'm forced to use super+space(which seems to be better), but again it's very annoying to double press to change the language. Language switch must to be fast and this way is slower. And this popup is annoying too, an icon indicator not in the center of the screen will be much better.
    Right now I'm trying to find a way to disable deepin' s language future, but nothing works so far. I tried with "setxkbmap" but it doesn't work.
