Dock and Hotcorner Freezing

It seems that almost at random, the dock and the applications listed there, and even the hotcorners, all freeze up.

I can still click on the window I'm on, but going between programs, using the hotcorners, clicking on programs on the dock, all but freeze for maybe 30 seconds, then o back to normal. Sometimes though, that doesn't happen, and I can't get anything to work right...

Beyond that though, the rest of the system works fine.

Can anyone help me out?

Firstly, would you mind posting your system specs? I'm curious as to whether it is older or not, and it would help if I knew more information about your system.

Secondly, and this is just for the sake of completeness would you mind updating your system with

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Sure thing!

Processor: AMD FX8, 4.0 GHz
RAM: 8GB
Hard Drive: 512GB SSD
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GEForce GTX 760
OS: Deepin 2014.2

And I have it fully updated now to Deepin 2014.2

Multipule times, yes. And it always does it. Even after turning the hotcorners off, it still lags up on the dock, and switching between programs, at random. I have no idea what could even be causing this...

我也出现了这个问题，结果发现是一个程序gSTM引起的，我用gSTM连接了ssh代理，之后由于网络不稳定，ssh断开了，结果gSTM就会弹出一个对话框，然后界面就假死了，就像有一个全局的模态对话框的一样，直到我用终端关闭gSTM才恢复正常，希望对deepin开发团队有所帮助

I also have this problem and found a program gSTM caused, I connected with gSTM ssh agent, after due to network instability, ssh disconnect, and the results will pop up a dialog box gSTM, then the interface will feign death, and like there is a global modal dialog like until I closed gSTM terminal returned to normal, I hope to help the development team deepin

I...had some trouble understanding that honestly, but, is there any way I can fix this lagging? If there is, I'll keep using Deepin, I really enjoy it! But, that lag cuases real issues with me...

maybe the correct drivers are not installed, try installing bleach bit and running it as well.

That's te weird thing, I went and actually tried that once, to install my NVIDIA drivers, and when I did, I couldn't get the control panel to show up at all, it'd flash an outline of it, then ot even show up at all after that. When I went back to the default drivers, the control panel would show up then.

did the older version of deepin do this? Perhaps there is a problem with deepin and the operation system does not support your hardware, that is the only thing i can think of. Try to keep updateing your system as they may fix is soon

Yes, the older version, 2014.1 did the same thing to me. It could be, yes, that it doesn't support my hardware...which really sucks, considering how I rather like Deepin...

They are pretty good at listen to feed back, im sure they will being doing some further testing and hopefully fix this bug. Time will tell just keep updating is all i can suggest for now
