    I seem to experience hard locking on a regular basis and I don't know why. It happens randomly...I can work at times for an hour or so but at other times I lock up within 5 minutes of a fresh reboot.
    I know a hard lock is coming when minimize, maximize and close stops working and my mouse starts to lag. After about 20 seconds everything is locked up and I have to do a reboot. Trying to change to a different tty shell doesn't work either.

    Attached are my system specs from I-Nex...maybe this will help.

    I have heard of a lockup bug with Nvidia and Ubuntu 14.04 which Deepin 2014.2 is based off of. Are you using standard drivers or have you installed the latest from Nvidia?

    Try installing the latest Nvidia drivers:
    1. sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:Qorg-edgers/ppa
    2. sudo apt-get update
    3. sudo apt-get install nvidia-346
    Copy the Code

    Then reboot.

    I was under the impression that we are not supposed to install nvidia drivers with Deepin. Has this changed?
