Hi Guys! I've twice lost my data while migrating towards linux from windows, my bad.
This time I'm going to convert my nsfw partitions into fat32 so that they can be read in linux, will create on partition for my whole data, what precautions should I take this time so that my data stays safe?

Or you could always buy an external usb hdd?
Also create a partition through windows and install Deepin that way.

You could store your data on an external USB drive. I also use MegaSync which gives you 50gig of backup for free and 500 gigs for $20

Install ntfs-3g, update its permissions to read/write, and have fun. Ntfs-3g has been around many years.
