Introduction
Community Development Team is primarily to develop high-quality software for deepin project. It mainly has the following roles:        

• Community Developer: Responsible for the development of third-party applications and system plugins of deepin project and generally occupied by community developers.
• Official Developer: Responsible for the major development of deepin project and generally occupied by official developers.
  

It cannot be said which role is better or worse among the above two roles. In what identity you will be involved in community development finally depends on your own abilities entirely.

Duties
Community development work is mainly on team building and software developing. The routine work is as follows:  

• To build community development team and call on more people to join it.
• To actively develop third-party applications and system plugins to improve the software ecosystem of deepin project.
• To improve and perfect the documents of application development to facilitate other developers’ participating in the development.
• To cooperate with Community Testing Team to fix the bugs that have been found.
• To pay close attention to the latest security information and repair system vulnerabilities in time.
  

Participation
If you hope to participate in community development work, please do read "deepin Community Declaration" to understand the spirit advocated by deepin community first and then to participate in this work. At present, the community development project is mainly carried out in the following sections:

• To get the latest developed achievements of deepin system and software as early as possible.
• To obtain the latest development plans and progress of deepin project in advance.
• To have special group member identity and richer forum features.
• To be on deepin contributors list.
• Outstanding members will get a souvenir from deepin.
  

Assessment

• Being familiar with Linux system and having developing abilities.
• Being friendly, patient and careful in work.
• When your application is not passed, there must be an interval of 15 days between your first application and your second application if you want to apply again.
• The applications of people who mask themselves by different nicknames are not accepted.
