Yes, Deepin is based on Ubuntu 14.04 I can't tell you something about daily freezes, because I run Deepin within a virtual box to need not to deal with UEFI and secure boot.
What I know is that it actually even freese when you are switching tty's or in other words consoles. form STRG+ALT+F7 to STRG+ALT+F1 for instance. This may have to do with your graphic driver Could you tell us a bit more about the kind of freezes you system have. When do they appear?
In other word's what are you doing before the system is going to behave like a fridge?
This would help the development team to track and trace the bug down to it's source, tremendously

I am new to linux but i have a few questions.
My first question:
Is Deepin 2014.3 also based on Ubuntu 14.04?
i was wondering this because of the LTS of ubuntu 14.04.
My second question:
I am using deepin for some time now but the system freeze´s a couple times a day(like 4 or 5 times).
I tried reinstalling it but it didnt solve anything.
Is this problem common and can it be solved?
Thanks in advance
