Since Deepin is building your own applications for a lot of things, have you considered producing your own firewall GUI - maybe something Deepin users can use in lieu of GUFW?

Virus scanning in Linux and Unix Systems is ridiculous Linux is save enough because it is linux on its own. There is not that big market as Windows has so for hackers Linux is not interesting enough. Especially if you are a privet person and not a big firm storing tons of data that may be valuable. So my opinion to Virus scanners on Linux systems is Don't waste your disk space for Software you do not need.  If you really need to fool yourself and like to have a better feeling when you start your system you can still use ClamAV

I've considered using ClamAV just to get comfortable with it.  However, and correct me if I'm wrong, Linux workstations are still vulnerable to malware, especially if the workstation has applications like WINE and PlayonLinux installed.

Nothing wrong with using ClamAV and for ease of use also install ClamTk to provide a GUI

Do you have any experience with these AV solutions or are you just making suggestions?  Thanks, regardless.

I had use the 3 of them and use some of them now,
But I can not tell you if you will like it, or may be useful to you.
You have to read and check them, to know if some of them are the programs you are looking for.
