Hello.

I have installed the Nvidia proprietary driver (352 version) using the Deepin tool but now I can't set a higher resolution than 1024x768, even if I go back to the Nouveau driver.

How can I fix this?

I'm using Deepin 2015 RC x64 with a GeForce GTX 950.

Hi Kazama,
I also installed from terminal or synaptic NVIDIA binary driver - version 352.41, after I checked something was not good I tried to manually uninstall nouveau, ,My system boots but graphically is not as it should with the driver.
I filled the questionnaire to inform developers of my experience, had you already too?

We hope on final stable version all will be solved. I can tell you that on first alphas system broke when installing it, So we are progressing ^^  : ) {:4_115:}

But I installed last final version of deepin 2015 and installed driver 352.41, on driver adminstrator tool as I show on image.

But still isn't working,

I am using a new nvidia gtx 750 ti. Anyone knows how to install nvidia propietary driver in deeepin2015. And has did it yet?

Argh.

Sadly don't have a solution, but I'm actually having the exact same error with the AMD drivers.

I can't install the AMD drivers from the website because it says my X Server version is not supported, so I'm a tad stuck myself.

Hi, I did this:

as root user from terminal (not in X)

1) cd /usr/bin
2) wget -Nc smxi.org/sgfxi
3) chmod +x sgfxi
4) sgfxi (install driver, reboot)
5) if you are gamer do this from deepin desktop: ctr+alt+f1 - to terminal
login with your user and password
  sudo su -
  sgfxi
    i + enter

that's all

and it works perfect!

I am experiencing intermittent functionality of the hide mode of the dock also. Seems to be a bug after the latest updates.

After latest updates same for me also 352.79 okay,  but still trouble with 358.16 which is odd because no trouble with a manual install of 361.28

I would not suggest unless you have some experience with manual install. It is rather complicated just like the firefox icon.
First 352.79 would have to be remove and Deepin original state. Then make sure the right build files are installed. Then manually create a blacklist for the nouveau driver.

The .run works but first there needs to be preparation of installing build tools, Kernel headers, and blacklisting nouveau or append Grub before you do the .run
