I have been trying to install the non open-source drivers for gaming, and running into an issue.
When I install the new AMD driver, it sets my resolution to 1024x768, and I can't change it from that. I also noticed that altering the brightness level doesn't do anything anymore.
I've tried installing the fglrx driver from deepin and ubuntu, which are the two options in the driver manager.
Thanks for any assistance!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I have a R9 390.
