After playing with Deepin 15 some more, other things 'not quite right' have become apparent.

First, when you have other apps/windows open on the desktop, and you open the App launcher pane on the left, and select the app you want to open, what you find is that your chosen app is not 'topped' but 'bottomed' - it is opened under all other items on the desktop!  The sole exception seems to be the text editor, which tops itself.  This is silly.

Network Folder-sharing started out on Deepin 2014 as broken, but after 6-9 months, someone saw the light and fixed it.  It seems to be a case of deja-vu with Deepin 15!!!  I will never ever understand how a distro can be launched without this indespensible feature installed and working out of the box, especially given the almost 2gig behemoth Deepin 15 has become.  Please please fix this.

Network permissions were broken in Deepin 2012, Deepin 2014 - and remain broken in Deepin 2015.  For example, when you double-click a remote network share, a box opens prompting you to try connecting either Anonomously or as a User.  When User is selected, additionals user-options are 'ungreyed', namely the ability to choose whether to have the entered password forgotten immediately, at the end of the Session, or remembered forever.  This feature is broken (yet again!) as no matter what you select, you will always be prompted for a network password, even when you close & immediately re-open a share.  This is just silly.

The one networking positive is that someone has finally fixed the Nautilus/Files window-crash when you would try opening the Windows Network->Workgroup, and a Linux share existed.  Incredibly, it would not crash if a Windows share existed!  This Samba bug has thankfully now been removed.

It is also necessary to add an error or a warning message on the screen, if the startup of deepin fails (when the water animation starts behind the logo of deepin).
Without that error messages, if the startup fails, the user hasn't any way to understand that the terminal is not loading the operating system, because the logo of deepin remains on the screen.
