Hi, I am now using another distro, waiting the moment when the graphicalnvidia propietary drivers installation is fixed; I check the forum often.
Are there any way to check the progress, or know as soon as possible when the new changes works?

Thanks for your work deepin developpers!
And happy new lunar new year to everyone from Spain! 从西班牙,新年快乐!

Hi dance707,
First thanks for answering and sharing info, not opinions so quick.
First, I am writting this from my installed deepin 15.1  Yes! {:4_102:}
But I want to add some images ,

About what I got at on first reboot after installation and till I achieve install the propietary driver, so everyone can check that (In my case), the free graphical driver wasn' t working as it should.

At first one: just after reboot all frozen, can not open terminal changespace, fn+f keys to open terminal out of graphical neither worked, brick blocked.
After some reboots, and while text were not displayed right, as you can check at second photo, I managed to install the nvidia driver version show at photo, and after reboot all was right again!

Developers thanks for your work fixing and improving the system!

I'm using Lenovo Y510p with dual gpus "Optimus". I don't know if  it's supported yet! For the moment I'll stay with the default noveau drivers hoping one day Linux may find a solution to "Optimus" problems and how to switch natively between GPUs.

I don't know if it is supported yet either, would have to check with Nvidia. According to the Debian 8 Wiki they seem to favor the nouveau driver. The nouveau driver works quite well with my dual-headed displays though I don't have Optimus. My dual gpus are amd's where I am running a Quad monitor work station with Deepin 15.1

Hello, dance 707.{:4_94:}
I have a driver to 352.63 Nvidia GPU does not start the window manager.
Xorg server says "screen not found"
On the system: Intel i5-3230M (Intel HD Graphics 3000) and Nvidia 720M.
Technology, as I understand it, Optimus (in windows running at least so), but if the system was loaded with 358.16 on the Nvidia GPU, but there were problems with FPS games on Steam (20-40fps), then to 352.63 do not even run on Nvidia's, and an Intel starts but does not run the demons Skype Steam and cursing the lack of OpenGL GLX

There might be other members here that know more about Nvidia cards and Steam that I have not tried.. Most of my experience is with AMD cards.
But I will say this when I was trying 358.16 , I and switch to 352.63 it did not work but when I was trying 340.96 and switch to 352.63 it worked okay for me on my Nvidia card.
I am not sure the specs on your card and to what proprietary driver you should use if any.
The initial thread here is regarding Deepins Driver Manager. And in Deepin 15.1 there was a big improvement to the driver manager utility for automatically installing the Nvidia proprietary drivers so users do not have to download from Nvidia and modify the Linux kernel them selves.

faska and neygomon, I has just read some web pages about optimus and debian(linux in general), and don't look nice
http://fixmynix.com/install-and- ... umblebee-in-debian/

Perhaps the newest driver solve problems I don't know, But i know that nvidia doesn't love linux , even some of us choose their products

In my case dance707, I decided to give a chance to 358 version from driver manager, progress bar stopped, and after click on 352 and click again on 358, blue bar reach the end.
But were not well installed, after reboot nvidia settings tell me I still was using 352... later nouveau with my original problems of blocking graphics.
So after some reboots more I managed to re install 352.63.  ufff

Well at least 352.63 is working for you and your able to run Deepin 15.1 now ! It still perplexing as to why the default nouveau driver did not. I had one on a ati card where I had to reset monitor to original factory state
I am using dual AMD card's on my quad monitor work station and Deepin 15.1 works great. It's been years since Linux worked well on my quad monitor work station, thanks to Deepin's DDE and using Debian and a Gala based windows manager.

Maybe other members know if you can switch from 352 to 358 or if you have to do clean install of 358 ?  358.16-0ubuntu0 installed for me but did not work on my Nvidia card. but both 352.63-2+deepin and 340.96-2+deepin worked okay. I just assumed my basic Nvidia card was not capable of running 358

I've also some problems with nvidia optimus drivers and amd64/i386 glx libs, specially for Steam on my gtx 860m laptop. I've tried virtually everything, with several reinstallation of the OS. Now i will waiting before installing anything of nvidia until any fix of the nvidia optimus driver.
