Hello there,

How to set that the VMWare tools start it automatically?

If i type in to the termial the "/usr/bin/vmware-user" it is start normally.

I saw that i install the tool i get a error that the tool try to copy some files to tty folder... (but it is not exist)

Any idea how to automatize the tool at startup?

PS: I try the crontab @reboot and edit /etc/rc.local but not working...

I have not used VMWare in a long time. I prefer VirtualBox but I did read that some users did the following :

Write a text file and then win the establishment of shared files with read-write permissions to access the shared folder deepin

Hope it gives you some ideas.

¿You try to reinstall the VMWare tools? Maybe works.

You may try logout and login again (not restart). That solved my issue.

Also I would suggest Virtualbox over VMware if you are going to use a Linux. Virtualbox is more community based and its tool maybe supported better.

Also I would suggest Virtua ...

The original problem might be resolved now that its in the Deepin Store as of April. As before users had to do a manual install and had error issue with Vmware Tools not getting installed.  I agree with VirtualBox it is a better solution for me. And starting with VirtualBox 5. series provides paravirtualization support as well as USB 3.0 device support.
