Hi,

I've recently made the switch to Linux and really like the Deepin distro. It runs fine on my netbook with Intel graphics but I also have two gaming rigs wich give me allot of problems. Everytime I try to install the closed source drivers wich Deepin recommends my system doesn't want to boot anymore.  The specs of the rigs are:

The first
I7 3770K
16GB Ram
Z77 Chipset
Nvidia 970GTX

Second rig:
I7 6700K
16GB Ram
Z170 Asrock OC Formula motherboard
Two R9 390X cards in crossfire

Can somebody help me with choosing the right drivers for this hardware and the correct procedure for installing them. I'm not looking for the best performance since I mostly play CS:GO through steam but I'm looking for something that works.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

DeScheep

Its okay your English . I would try the proprietary nvidia-driver 352.63 as there is problems for some users with the 358 version now.

After package build failed I tried the automatic gui option. And the AMD radeon-crimson Fglrx-15.302 driver installed okay but a couple of problems I noticed. For the Deepin Screen Shot to work have to temporarily disable Deepin desktop effects. And when using sleep mode of the power settings in Deepin the monitor it would not wake. but a virtual terminal and startx worked okay.I was not able to find any correct instructions for preperation of the Automatic gui install . I did a combination from serveral sources I read.

When you unzip the AMD installer it has a 44 page pdf installer notes. But does not cover the preparation.
I basically went by this link here : and scrolled down to the Installing Manually instruction.
http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php ... esting_kernel_3.2.0

But its at least 2 years old.

Also beware of the 32bit packages that might conflict with wine or steam

your trying to build a Debian package so

or
--buildpkg Debian/sid

I finally have AMD drivers on Deepin 2015 but it's a bit buggy

I used the guide in this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc8s5yhylbo

Since it did not recognize the OS I used the general option and it installed fine. After a reboot it simply started up to the desktop. I checked for the AMD control center and I could not find it but decided to try CS:GO anyway. And it simply worked. The performance is the same as in UBUNTU.

I will be doing some more testing over the next days and keep you guys posted

Good to hear you made some progress. With the automatic installer if you chose Automatic mode it should install the AMD control panel . But if you chose Custom then it is hard to tell if the box is checked for the selection of control panel.

Who is able to install the drivers on the NVIDIA paired with Intel HD Graphics?
And if you could, what version? {:4_91:}
ps: And what is most interesting in the driver manager only Nvidia legacy 340xx
ps2: In Ubuntu there are no problems with drivers, only Debian (and its derivatives) such sorrow

First of all, stay away from the 358 driver. It seems to give allot of people problems. Combining Intel + Nvidia has always been complicated in Linux. I suggest You start by reading this http://www.pcworld.com/article/2944964/how-to-use-nvidia-optimus-to-switch-active-gpus-and-save-power-on-linux-laptops.html. And do some research on the internet regarding Bumblebee and Nvidia Optimus. I don't have any experience with this since my netbook is Intel only.
