Deepin yesterday's update is a nightmare! Slow, slow and slow! Timeout servers (IP not found), and the very few apps that are updated after more than 4 hours, are not really updated!

What a fiasco!

- Changing mirrors is not a solution! I've already tried it! Deepin looks nice but the impossibility of updating makes me thinking about to keep or not deepin installed. After having worked with lots of Linux distros, this is the first time on a distro that updates are impossible!

They were having 404 errors yesterday. Updates are still slow today but working. It is often best to wait a day or 2. on a large update.
What apps did you have that updated that are not really updated ?

For instance, Deepin movie is marked as updated but when opening the app, it still shows the older version. Actually it seems that it tries to open two instances of Deepin Movie. The app is now very slow and hangs!

My Deepin movie seems to be okay if you were trying to update while getting 404 errors I would check for broken packages.

Everything congrats on the update!
Conclusion: Something is wrong with Deepin Updates!
Suggestions:
In reality, the number of users has increased by 100-200%. Please, first  update all the mirrors and, then placed on all servers Release file:
Release.gpg     It will not be a nightmare with the update!
Thank you for your support and understanding.

Yes users should not be presented a update in the control panel if they are only going to get 404 errors. The partial updates is what causes broken packages.

Is your sources list okay ?

I think yes:
  1. http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable InRelease [9,850 B]
  2. Fetched 15.8 kB in 0s (18.2 kB/s)
  3. Reading package lists... Done

  2. deb [by-hash=force] http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free
