Started around 2006 on and off. From 2008 to 2010 I did a gradual transition from MS Windows to Linux. In 2010 I completely ditched MS Windows from my home systems. I live happier ever since. :-) I started with a good old Sinclair Spectrum 48K and a tape deck, then a wonderful Schneider EuroSX (386) and MS DOS 5.0, then MS Windows 3.1 and followed all the Windows versions up to 7 on several non-branded/custom PCs. Recently I bought an Asus T100Chi hybrid laptop/tablet that came with MS Windows 8.1 and upgraded it with 10. I'll hopefully install it with Deepin soon. I tried many Linux distros but before Deepin I was using a custom built Debian Testing netinstall with Xfce.

I use Linux all day every day of the week. Sorry could not resist the word play with the question. Seriously in the early days Linux was not very usable other than a server, but was fun to experiment with on a desktop. Now days I use Deepin Linux for all my desktops.

Been on and off Linux distros for since Mandrake in 2005, even before that using Mandrake but couldn't pinpoint which version it was, but it might be 7. Just to name a few other distros I've used:

Mint - not very often
Ubuntu - possibly the longest of all Linux based OS (if OSX don't count)OSX - for like a year (if OSX counts)
CentOS - Set up home server network, spent quite some time in it
Debian - Handful of times, usually no longer than a week used before ending up removing it. Actually thinking of doing it again now that I feel more  comfortable in Linux.
Arch - Briefly through the installation process. Probably too uninteresting for my taste, but the idea is awesome. Might try it again for a final verdict though.
Deepin - Hell to the yes. But only been 3 days or so. But I have to say, this may actually be it.

Possibly a few others I can't recall, but to be honest, over the years, only recently (actually since CentOS 7) did I learned how to operate the system.
