If your new to Linux I would suggest, In your applications there is Driver Manager that will install a Nvidia-driver for you.

Hi, After I installed Nvidia proprietary driver 340.96 (the latest) from the driver manager for my Nvidia FX4600 the whole screen crashed after login. Only the default Nouveau driver works. I have tried it after a fresh installation of Deepin 15.1. For the reference The same issue with Manjaro Deepin.

Yes it is a mixed bag when using the proprietary graphics cards. Hopefully we will get better hardware support with the new Deepin Kernel Plan.
