I've downloaded the latest AMD Propietary driver from AMD's website and installed it using gksu ./amd-driver-installer-15.302-x86.x86_64.runcommand. After reboot, the desktop environment did not start, so i logged in to tty1 and typed in startdde. Thanksfully i could uninstall the driver and after a strange error message (the root terminal is unaccessible), the system works just as it worked before the driver installation) The additional drivers does not detect my GPU. And without the driver, the only way to ''change'' screen brightness is to decrase the gamma value with the xgamma -gamma f.f command.
Output:

PS.: the output of sudo startdde is the same as above
