In a fresh 15.1 installation, driver manager shows nvidia 352 and 358. Installing one of these driver will also install nvidia-prime. But after the latest 15.1.1 update, only 352 is shown and nvidia-prime is not installed if this is chosen, it's not even in the package list anymore. Because of this, I can't use my nvidia card for gaming, which sucks because my intel card is not strong enough. Is this a package that causes a breakage a while ago therefore it's removed?

I suspect they removed 358.16 because many users reported unable to boot after installing.

Same here. nvidia 352 is installed, but the intel skylake driver is still active, cant switch to the nvidia card because there is no prime? Opening nvidia-config says: There is no Nvidia Card active. How to turn off the intel gpu and activate nvidia (960M here) ? fyi: Ubuntu 16.04 provides already nvidia-361 as default, switching with nvidia-prime works there with re-login.

Hi, currently some try disabling one of the devices in BIOS but is not available with all BIOSes , Also some use third party Bumbebee program in the Deepin repositories to implement Optimus-like functionality. It requires extra configuration.
