I use the asus X200MA and deepin 01.01.2015 to make a presentation. But apparently I failed to connect my laptop to LCD projector. Displaying only the background image only, while others are not displayed (icons and menus including short-cut to restart).
I press the power button to turn off the laptop. Then try again, and the result is the same as before.

I've been looking for a solution via google, and no one gives a solution by installing "grandr" (applies to ubuntu and mint). I tried searching through deepin store but failed to find it.

How do I solve it?

Hi : grandr is not avaliable in Debian, but it is just a gtk front end for xrandr commands. If your using the default open source graphics drivers in Deepin you can use xrandr.

If your searching for GUI for xrandr in debian/deepin there is available arandr - Simple visual front end for XRandR. You may also try lxrandr - LXDE monitor configuration tool. But the deepin's Control Center> Display utility should do the same job.

If you unable to configure with the Deepin Control Center, offering additional GUI's will be of little help in troubleshooting and connecting in special cases of difficultiy.  xrandr commands can often help in diagnosing and configuration.
