Hello Deepin Team,

I need your help with an issue I'm experiencing:

I have a Dell Latitude E5420 running Deeping 15.1.1 64 bits. The laptop has 4GB RAM and an Intel Core i5-2540M processor @ 2.60GHz x 4.

I've been using Deeping for quite a while and I usually leave my PC on. So, I changed the power settings to do nothing when I close the lid, but this feature is not working anymore. I'm not sure when exactly this happenned, but it was after one of the latest updates.

Could you please tell me if anyone else has reported the same issue and if you are already working on correcting it?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hi, Welcome to the Deepin Forum. You could try custom. If your sure it is the lid action then you could try clicking Reset next to Power Management and change your settings again to see if that helps.
Correction its Power saver that suspends after 15 mins but I still would try custom or reseting at the top.

I've tried both options with no luck. I first clicked the Reset option and then changed the close lid action to do nothing - didn't work. The PC still goes to sleep when I close the lid.

Then I tried changing the power management settings to Custom on both profiles, Plugged In and On battery - didn't work either.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi, your welcome. There is one more thing you could try while your waiting for a reply or a further Deepin patch. If your familiar with the dconf editor your could check  com>deepin>daemon>power and check lid-close value. There you can verify its getting changed to nothing by the Deepin control center or set it manually to a value of nothing if it still says suspend.

Hello Dance707,

Just wanted to thank you for all the support and report the issue is fixed now. I followed your advice and used dconf to change the lid-close value, but didn't work.

The issue was fixed after applying a couple of updates last night. I really don't know the updates IDs, but the issue is fixed now. Do you know where the Deepin Team post all the updates and bugs fixes?

Thanks again for all your help!
