    I have Deepin installed on an Asus X555LA Laptop. The issue I'm having is with downloading files. While downloading, the speed goes from 0 kbps all the way up to my normal speed of about 2 mbps, then back down to 0 in a matter of about 7 seconds.. This cycle repeats throughout the duration of the download. Is this a known issue???

    Hi, Welcome to the Deepin Forum.  Is this downloading any file ? What version of Deepin are you using ? and what is the terminal output of :

    1. lspci | awk '/net/ {print $1}' | xargs -i% lspci -ks %

    Well, I've since switched to Kubuntu (bad choice), but it was 15.1.1. That was while downloading any file. Whether through Transmission or through a web browser. I always got the same response. Even in the Deepin store.

    Hi, The normal procudure would be to identify your network card and driver to see if there is any know issues. And also the kernel version that you had. If you should try Deepin again we hope version 15.2 will be out soon.

    Chinese repositories are notoriously slow.  Change to one closer to you.

    Using intelligent mirror switching in the Deepin contrtol center or changing sources may help with updates and Deepn Store but would have little to do with downloads in Transmission or a Web browser.
