Upgrade to Kernel 4.4+ possible without problems?

Deepin seems to bring kernel 4.2 which doesnt include Skylake support.Does anyone have upgraded Deepin to Kernel 4.4 or 4.6 without any further problems? Or are whith such an upgrade some issues expected?
