Normal Scenery

  • Make sure to use official mirror. (Official mirror sites in /etc/apt/sources.list)
  • Make sure the update completes. (Control center, sudo apt-get update)
  • Make sure the system environment is normal. (sudo apt-get -f install , sudo dpkg --configure -a)
  • Make sure the network environment is normal.

Common Error Sceneries

  • After booting, system will run update in background by default, it might fail to install applications in Deepin Store, or install applications (patches) in terminal ( prompts that apt-get is already running, the resources are currently unavailable).
  • Incomplete update while using sudo apt-get update or clicking Update in Control Center (some campus network users and poor network users), will cause failure in installation in Deepin Store.
  • Some internal test users added official internal test mirror, did not delete or block the mirror, will also cause system update and Deepin Store installation failure.
  • For some network users, due to some issues in cache server, the indexes are not timely synchronously read, then it will cause 404 Not Found error. (It will prompt while installing applications in terminal.)

PS: The way to unlock apt progress:

1.open system monitor and kill apt-get related progress.
2.open terminal and execute command:
sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock
sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock
(use this way only if way 1 does not work)

Solutions (Update & Download Failure)

Please execute the following command in terminal to upgrade Deepin Store to the latest version, then retry to download.

  1. sudo apt-get update;
Copy the Code
  1. sudo apt-get install lastore-daemon deepin-appstore deepin-appstore-data
Copy the Code

To verify if you have updated to the right version, you can execute apt-cache policy lastore-daemon, then directly check in the uploaded log, search lastore-daemon in "packages" in the root directory of log to check the version.

Ways to Feedback

1. Execute sudo deepin-feedback-cli in terminal to feedback logs.

2. Report issues encountered by Deepin User Feedback, select Deepin Store in category.

3. Feed back in https://bugzilla.deepin.io/.

Good afternoon, I'm trying to install some programs by Deepin Store, the download of the failure, I've restarted, I already checked the source it looks like this:

deb [by-hash=force] http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free
deb-src http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free

I can not download in any way from the store, I already tried to use the above tips but none worked. I would love to continue using Deepin, I really liked it, but with this problem it gets difficult. Can someone help me ?

having issues with the deepin store as well and the mirrors for updates being painfully slow. not only that, but i am unable to install anything from the terminal, every time i go to install something i get the failed archive message.  and i really do not feel like having to download the source code and compiling every app i want to use or go through the trouble of trying to use outside repositories. so as of now, deepin 15.4 is a pretty desktop environment, but with these issues makes it pretty useless ATM. sad thing is i have been convincing others to switch over to this distro. looks like i may have to start looking for another distro again. please fix these issues because if you do not then they will cause a lot people to lose interest in deepin.

You needn't change your distribution because of that.
Simply add the Debian mirrors to your mirrorlist and it should work fast and stable.
As Deepin is based on Debian there should be no problem but I didn't try it.
Here is the mirrorlist: https://www.debian.org/mirror/list

Hei there!

Can you please help me on this matter? I tried to fix it all day long but I didn't manage it

When I try to update the Deepin store:

Hello. I'm not clear on what you are trying to fix, for the terminal log says the app store is up to date. deepin-appstore is already the newest version (4.0.8.1-1).
deepin-appstore-data is already the newest version (4.0.8.1-1).
lastore-daemon is already the newest version (0.9.30-2).      What am I missing? Are you trying to correct the error on that one package?

I reinstalled with todays ISO and after installing software I set my account to autologin. Then I trying to make updates I recogniced that APT is locked... so I restarted but the login appeared and I tried to grafical login but its stuck:
1. when I give a false password it says it's wrong password - because my keyboardlayout is back to default not DE-DE
2. when I enter the correct password he just jumps back to the login - its in a loop

So I checked in the terminal and he allways says it's the wrong password... so I checked and recogniced it is US-EN not DE-DE anymore... still there is no way to login in the graphical login.

I tried the following, but it does helped:

Normal Scenery
Make sure to use official mirror. (Official mirror sites in /etc/apt/sources.list)
Make sure the update completes. (Control center, sudo apt-get update)
Make sure the system environment is normal. (sudo apt-get -f install , sudo dpkg --configure -a)
Make sure the network environment is normal.

Common Error Sceneries
After booting, system will run update in background by default, it might fail to install applications in Deepin Store, or install applications (patches) in terminal ( prompts that apt-get is already running, the resources are currently unavailable).
Incomplete update while using sudo apt-get update or clicking Update in Control Center (some campus network users and poor network users), will cause failure in installation in Deepin Store.
Some internal test users added official internal test mirror, did not delete or block the mirror, will also cause system update and Deepin Store installation failure.
For some network users, due to some issues in cache server, the indexes are not timely synchronously read, then it will cause 404 Not Found error. (It will prompt while installing applications in terminal.)

PS: The way to unlock apt progress:
1.open system monitor and kill apt-get related progress.
2.open terminal and execute command:
sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock
sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock
(use this way only if way 1 does not work)

Solutions (Update & Download Failure)
Please execute the following command in terminal to upgrade Deepin Store to the latest version, then retry to download.
sudo apt-get update;
Copy the Code
sudo apt-get install lastore-daemon deepin-appstore deepin-appstore-data
Copy the Code
To verify if you have updated to the right version, you can execute apt-cache policy lastore-daemon, then directly check in the uploaded log, search lastore-daemon in "packages" in the root directory of log to check the version.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I installed a new VM and after doing all above and updating I got the same login problem in UI... in the Terminal I am able to login. Check it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5NRl3XQgoM&hd=1

All repositories i'm tested to update deepin 15.2 to deepin 15.3 not work, except the primary mirror.

http://packages.deepin.com/deepin/ - Show packages for update, and apt-get upgrade is fine.

http://linuxdeepin.c3sl.ufpr.br
http://deepin.mirror.gtcomm.net
http://sft.if.usp.br/deepin/
http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/deepin/

In this 4 mirrors, i'm find packages updated searching manually in folders, but after use apt-get update, apt-get only show old packages, not show any package released in deepin 15.3.

For example, this folder have deepin terminal 2.0.14, but in apt-get only find 1.1.7 version: http://linuxdeepin.c3sl.ufpr.br/ ... /d/deepin-terminal/

In Brazil oficial mirror is very slow, like 15 kb/s, that is why we really need fine mirrors.
