Hello everyone,

I've try to install DeepinOS 15.2 on my new computer :
- Gigabyte Technology Brix GB-BSi3-6100
- HyperX Impact HX316LS9IB/8 RAM 8GB 1600MHz DDR3L CL9 SODIMM 1.35V
- Transcend TS128GMTS800 SSD interne 128 Go M.2 (Type 2280) SATA III

I've made many installation of Deepin on multiple hardware, but this time I've got this issues :

Complete Log is available on => http://pastebin.com/K1zzpdag

And this is the last line of it :
  1. ** (deepin-installer:1925): WARNING **: [run_one_by_one] run hook(/tmp/hooks/in_chroot/02-setup-cdrom-repository.job) failed: Child process exited with code 100
Copy the Code

This is what I've try so far:
- Change mode on BIOS to "legacy"
- Delete all partition with gParted, and create one with GPT table to mount "/boot/efi"
- Try to install other distribution (DEBIAN 8 / Ubuntu 16.04 / HandyLinux) and it works !!

Have you any clue of what going on ? and what should I do.
I really want to invest myself into this DeepinOS.

Every help is appreciated.

Best Regards.

A bad ISO download, hardware conflict with the kernel.

Did you check to verify a good download?

ISO MD5
64-bit:4d43ad25056574ef6a54905098d87e9b
32-bit:c00d0fa3cdec28d90db9c60ce6481805

Does Live mode run?

Apparently there is a live Mode!

Says do this on a post.

When start installer? do it next:
ALT-F2.
LANG=EN_en.utf8 startx
Welcome to Deepin live!

I was having problems with that in VBox probably because how the Keyboards mapped.

I was able to edit the boot line by hitting Tab.  Deleted "Live-Installer"  "Chinese Local"  Replaced that with "LANG=EN_en.utf8"

"Hit Enter"

And Live desktop came up instead of the Install!

I'd say if everything works alright in Live Mode, your having a problem with your SSD drive could try a standard SATA drive, USB drive, Thumb drive  to see if it will install.

I've been using 15.1.1 for a while and now i'm trying to instal 15.2 but results with an installation failed message about 80% of progress bar.

Booting in legacy mode, MD5 check is OK. Tried with different USB sticks, different ISOs from different sources and written with both UNetbootin and Deepin Boot Maker.

http://pastebin.com/NW3124dD

Installation worked just fine for 15.1.1. Same partiton, same settings.

Thanks for any idea.

This does not really solve the problem, but why not just reinstall 15.1 and update and upgrade to 15.2 from there?

This does not really solve the problem, but why not just reinstall 15.1 and update and upgrade to 15 ...

Because I was on 15.1.1 and servers were dead slow. So i've searched and find this page;
https://bbs.deepin.org/post/30886

Followed the instructions there and end up with kernel panic. Then formatted. Maybe i should try again.

I'm back to 15.1.1 and then ugraded to 15.2. After update i'm stuck at login screen. After entering password if password is correct, loading circle appears and gets back to login screen else it just says wrong password as normal. Think I should stay with 15.1.1 until a new version releases.

It seems like 15.2 upgrade didn't generated my xorg.conf file. And I can't reconfigure it. Now installing 15.1.1 again and not going to update it for a while.
