Just found this board as well so i thought i would post it here as well!
I have been able to install Deepin latest version on a Surface Pro 2. The touch screen works, the sound etc. The only thing that does not work is the wifi! It does work on Ubuntu 16.04 without issue. I am using all 64bit iso's during all of this. I have a usb ethernet adapter that works so downloading files etc wont be an issue. I have all the system updates installed, and have ran an aptitude update and then an upgrade to make sure i have everything.
The surface pro 2 has a Marvell 350N or also known as a Avastar 88W8782
I have a usb stick with the Ubuntu version that works so booting into that wont be a problem if i need to find any information out from that version of linux!
