    Hi, I have installed Deepin and feel this is one of the best linxus distro i have come across.

    The only issue i had was updating patch was slow.  I did some research and follow some advise such as switching to a different mirror under the update portion.

    It do not seems to help, can anyone advise what to do next?

    Sometimes the closest mirrors are not the fastest ones. I, for example, am located in California, USA and have frequently found the fastest download mirrors to be in the Netherlands (NLUUG) and The University of Kent in GB rather than the mirrors in USA. Lately, the official mirror CDN Acceleration has been fast. Another way to avoid slow updates is to update in terminal right after you boot into Deepin.Good luck.

    You must do this manually into terminal
    1. sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
    2. to prescribe one of the fastest mirrors. I have it here:  deb http://mirror.inode.at/data/deepin/ unstable main contrib non-free
    3. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
