1.  Install extension that enables system notifications instead of pop-up windows
2.  Install Firefox Gnome Theme
3.  Install Gnome Theme Tweak
Press CTRL+Shift+A --> Extensions --> Gnome Theme Tweak
set Maximum tab width to Stretch
4.Install extension that hides titlebar and puts window controls in toolbar
  • Open Firefox menu and select Add-ons, find HTitle preferences
  • Select Hide titlebar: Always

And tick relief buttons on the navigation toolbar in Gnome Theme Tweak... you get nice buttons like pic below.
