I'm using Deepin 15.3 and deepin movie does not start.I've tried with the following files: avi, mkv and mp4. None of these opens.
Deepin 15.3 =
Linux betoloko-pc 4.4.0-2-deepin-amd64 #1 SMP Deepin 4.4.6-4 (2016-07-01) x86_64 GNU/Linux

I'm not sure about Deepin Movie but VLC works fine and is available in the store.
