I have the same problem. I install Deepin in UEFI mode. But it can't reboot in this mode. Then I change the mode to Legacy, works well. I don't like this.

Please check these option:
1.GPT partition Linux EFI guided system
2.ur installation media supports uefi
3.have set these partitions: 1)efi  2)/swap 3)/boot 4)/

in UEFI mode, you should set the Secure Boot disabled

I have solved this problem. you must set partition efi. I success. But I forget to set partition /boot.

Okie I see what you saying Ulysses, but the issue is it won't work on a most of the new laptops. A specially the ones with windows 10 preinstall. I have secure boot disabled. the one part that got me kind of scratching my head is if you turn on legacy boot the efi boot is active.

Manjaro and Ubuntu worked around it by letting people make the partition table Vfat. Then of course your mount would be boot/EFI

I have it running, I had to cheat and clone parts of my efi  to make the laptop think it was a Windows install.
