Hi all

I've installed arch linux on my MBP, best thing I ever did, after installing deepin ofcourse. I do however have an issue that the resolution is set to it's highest and I can't seem to change it. Infact I can't seem to do anything with the screen, when I select to rotate right for instance, it doesn't change. Is this a deepin issue or could it be an arch linux graphics driver issue? I'm pretty new to linux, so I fully expect it's me missing something obvious.

Thanks

You mean you installed DDE on Arch, right?

What if you change your screen resolution with command line tool xrandr?

thanks for the reply.

Yes DDE

currently im 2560x1600

when I xrandr --fb 1920x1200

the scale doesn't change as such. the working area is reduced, in both axis and there's a "glitched" border around the bottom and right

ah! I've just done a

xrandr -s 1920x1200

and it's perfect. For some reason when I go to the control centre and choose this resolution it doesn't change.

Please paste the outputs of the command 'xrandr', thanks!

The scale, you can exec 'gsetttings set com.deepin.xsettings scale-factor  ', such as:  gsettings set com.deepin.xsettings scale-factor  1.5
