The firefox in Deepin AppStore has stopped in version 48, this is not a good news for Firefox favoriters. Now I'll show how to install latest version.
At frist, put on the download link, you can visit and download the latest package.
https://www.mozilla.org/
After downloading the package, open and unzip it.
Open the terminal,then type in " sudo dde-file-manager" or " sudo nautilus" to open the files manager in ROOT
Then move the folder "Firefox" to /opt , then close the files manager.
Type " sudo gedit " to open the text editor in ROOT
Put follows into the text editor:
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Mozilla Firefox
Exec=/opt/firefox/firefox
Icon=/opt/firefox/browser/icons/mozicon128.png
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Categories=Application;Network;
then save the text into /usr/share/applications , the text 's name is firefox.desktop
And you will see a Firefox logo in your applications list, if not, you may try to log out and log in.
This Firefox has an updater like the Windows editon to update Firefox to the latest version automaticly.
