Hi, I'm trying to install Deepin on a laptop and it always stucks on logo screen.
These are the pc specs:
BRAND: HP 15-ba054nl
CPU: AMD A10-9600P RADEON R5
RAM: 16GB DDR4

This pc has UEFI mode so I have enabled Legacy mode to disable it.
The problem is that is doesn't work anyway.

When I'm on the logo screen I click f2 to read the startup log and I get errors such as:
1) SQUASHFS error: unable to read data cache entry
2) SQUASHFS error: unable to read page..

and also

I'm booting from a pendrive made with Deepin's boot maker.
It seems he is in a kind of bootloop caused by the Squashfs error and the starup errors. Is there any way to solve? I noticed that this notebook has problems with Debian based distros, because I get stuck on Ubuntu's splash-screen too, while I manage installing distros such as Kali Linux.

1. Try to burn usb stick and install again.
2. See content of installer log file at /var/log/deepin-installer-reborn.log

If kernel is't bootup properly, please edit grub boot item, remove "quiet splash" so that kernel will print booting log to tty.

Is your partition GUID or MBR? If it is GUID, you can try converting it to MBR。Or try to re partition to install again .

One of my first doubts was if the problems were caused by the type of partition.. I hate laptops with a pre-installed OS because they're all messed up (I hate new MOBOs too lol).
In fact the disk was GPT. I have converted it to MBR and gonna try. Maybe it's a good shot.
In case of negative result, I'll try the solution that https://bbs.deepin.org/user/36072 shared (thanks m8)

[UPDATE: SEE THE LIGHT] After a day passed working on my laptop I finally managed to make Fedora work. I spent the whole day changing boot modes, making booting sticks with different versions of Debian-based distros.. At the end I made a Fedora bootable stick using Rufus (Windows) instead of the Fedora's utility because it isn't working on all my other PCs, I have chosen MBR partition type (previusly I had changed the partition type on the laptop's hd) for UEFI mode.
At the first time I started Fedora in live mode, but didn't work, same errors of Deepin installation.. at the end I tried starting Fedora in basic graphic mode and... WORKED.
So I guess the problem was in part caused by my GPU drivers that Linux can't load.
At the end I have succesfully installed Fedora and I'm about to download the Deepin environment.
Stay tuned!

Hey there. Ended up grabbing this error: "Bug: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer deference at (null)" when added nomodeset. Any ideas?

you'd better upload some feedback instead of one line text to help debugging
