Hi Everyone!  In other versions of Linux, I use Fcitx with google pinyin to type Chinese characters and with fxitx-m17n to type pinyin symbols with tone marks.  However, Deepin doesn't include fcitx-m17n in its repositories.  (Deepin does include Fcitx with the Sogou engine, which is excellent for typing Chinese characters, but as far as I can tell, doesn't work for typing pinyin symbols with tone marks.)

Does anyone know a good solution for either
1) installing fcitx-m17n in Deepin, or
2) another method for typing pinyin symbols with tone marks?

Thanks!

Thank you.  You are quite right.  I should have tried apt-get when I didn't find it in the Deepin Store.  Using apt-get, fcitx-m17n installed perfectly.  I can now switch easily between the English keyboard, Sogou, and m17n pinyin symbols.  Thank you!!!
