I'm using deepin 15.04 in my laptop. When there was a notification that told me my battery was running low, my laptop turned off. I know this is a common thing. My laptop should hibernate immediately. But the problem is my laptop screen turned off and the fan still working and wouldn't stop until i forcibly turned it off. I couldn't have lost all of my data without have a chance saving for them. What is wrong with it? Thanks.

How to enable Hibernation mode? I can see suspend but it likely is "LOCK + SCREEN_OFF". Suspend still drains battery.
I have a swapon partition but i don't see any usage.
Help needed!!

Same need for me.

When Battery level is critical, I'd like the computer to hibernate, so that I can change to another battery without data loss. This is impossible with the present behaviour that just suspends to ram when battery level is critical.
