Hello everybody,
I have a problem with the deepin file manager.
Everytime I create/delete a Folder or File I have to refresh (F5).
Any solution for this?
Can I change this somewhere in the settings?
thanks in advance.

Why do you need to refresh?
Do you create Folder or File by right click or mkdir/touch?

I mean I HAVE TO refresh that it is visible.
When I right click -> new Folder -> nothing happens --> then refresh [F5] --> it is visible
Any idea?

Unfortunately it does not work for me like in your video.
Here is a screen record. I always have to press F5 for changes to take effect.

PS: it's really hard to reach your site from europe

I suggest you edit /etc/sysctl.conf:
add line: fs.inotify.max_user_watches=10000 (the value you wanted )

sudo sysctl -w fs/inotify/max_user_watches=10000 won't works if you reboot your OS

Since the last update it doesn't work anymore.
Everytime I create, delete or move a folder or file I have to press F5 to see the changes!
Already added the line: fs.inotify.max_user_watches=10000 in /etc/sysctl.conf but doesn't work anymore
Anything I can do?

There is no need to kill the desktop process while uninstall the dde-file-manager.
Just three steps:
1.
  1. sudo apt-get remove dde-file-manager
Copy the Code

2.
  1. sudo apt-get install nemo
Copy the Code

3.change the system default file manager to nemo:
edit the mimeapps.list:
  1. vi ~/.config/mimeapps.list
Copy the Code

in the [Default Applications] category: change the
  1. inode/directory=dde-file-manager.desktop
Copy the Code
to
  1. inode/directory=nemo.desktop
Copy the Code

like this:

I changed the value to 200000, and the problems including rebooting were solved.
