I wait for it,too,because my laptop also has HiDPI.
Lowering the screen resolution fixed the problem for me.
It doesn't look as great as with the perfect resolution but I can work with it until 15.5 is released.

Months ago I asked about deepin hidpi or compatibility with laptops with Uhd screens but the answer was that they will release an update over october to sove that issue...
Any news?
Other question, There is anyway to have an animation mac like (the one that when you hover the icons get augmented ) on the app bar?
