    Hi All,
    after installing the nvidia drivers (375.26 if I'm not wrong) via the drivers manager utility I have a black screen during restart and the boot process stops. How can I fix the problem?

    I tried again using the driver drivers again but with the same result so I think there is a problem in the application or in the drivers. Fortunately I managed to restore the system. Is there an alternative way to install nvidia drivers?

    I have a very similar problem, but it only gives me a black screen once that I've run the command "nvidia-xconfig".
