You don't have to install any updates if you like your system how it is.
You had also have the possibility to wait with the updates until it's not beta anymore.
Many people here in the forum didn't want to wait anymore so the Deepin team provided the update.
It is exactly what the community wanted.
And for many people (like me,on both devices) everything is fine with the update.
I'm sure that the Deepin team will fix the problems soon.
Did you ever see a beta without some bugs?
At Windows the stable edition has much more bugs than Deepins beta...

not one problem with deepin 15.5 beta and it runs so good as 15.4.1 i use it on 2 pc's and one on a media system with kodi on tv , no problems ..
i use on firefox flashgot and downthemall works perfect for me i download a 1080 hd movie from arround 2gb in 30 sec or 45 sec  on 20 a 30mb /per sec lol

I didn't want beta. I just saw there is an update and updated. I should have been warned.
No, your system should be up to date, but if the community wanted beta so much, Deepin developers should have had a different update branch for the guys who want it.

It is a public beta version and we will fix the bugs that users feedback soon. So that we will bring the stable deepin 15.5 soon.

I am begging you dude. Bring back the feature to emulate middle button click with three fingers tap on the touchpad. Without it there is no reson for me to use Deepin =(

You can set it via xinput command.
