My laptop freezes when shutdown or reboot is given. It hangs and does nothing, shows only the frozen screen not able to access anything. The only way to get back is cold shutdown and turn on again. This happens with kernel version 4.14 and above. Mine is a new Lenovo Yoga 720 15IKB laptop. The trackpad doesn't work with default kernel so I'm using this kernel.
