Shouldn't it work simply by installaing on top of the old one?
Problem is it complains about dependencies. I'm afraid that by doing what you suggested the dependencies problem will come up again when (re-)installing. Have you actually tested the method?
When trying to install over the previous version, it says that the problem with dependencies is solved by deleting cn.google.chrome Deleted the previous version, then installed the latest deb file from the Google site. Deleted by right-clicking on the program icon. Settings, bookmarks, speed dial are preserved. Whether it will now be updated itself - we'll see. The source list file has not been edited.

If any of you also use SE Unix & Linux it would be great if you upvoted it in order to give more international visibility to Deepin.
