    • [Newbies] Deepin 20.9 doesn't support 720p projectors

    When I plugged in a 720p projector, I can only get 1280x800 resolution, which is not the projector's native resolution. I had to log onto Windows to use the projector.

    xrandr --output HDMI-1 --mode 1280x720

    That's what fixed it. When I go to display settings, the resolution is now blank. Deepin should implement native 720p instead of requiring user to input xrandr command into terminal.

    Nobody makes 720p TV's or LCD screens anymore. BUT 720p projectors are only starting to become very affordable and popular!
