In one movie, I have to crank up the system audio to 66% (if the system suddenly plays a system notification sound my hearing is killed), in another movie I am back to my default 28% volume.
We're in the age of AI and smart appliances. If there is a SMART movie player, it will automatically determine the loudness of the video and normalize the volume so it remains consistent audio output.

No media player software currently available, FOSS or closed source, does what you want, I'm afraid.
